An affable and; deceptively intelligent man, Reese Michael MacIntyre currently heads a Division Code-named Project Phoenix, for SAC/SOG (Special Operations Group) a tactical paramilitary operations group under the umbrella of the CIA.

The Eighth son of a Seventh son, Reese spent the bulk of his formative years in the shadow of his fraternal twin brother; Liam MacInytre, who incidentally became the recipient of The Family's storied blade; Gram, the legendary sword Sigurd used to slay Fafnir. Ironically enough, both Liam and the sword are currently missing, last seen in the company of the creature known as The Celestial Dragon, Paragon and Pillar of Fae.

Reese MacIntyre learned about duty and diligence at an early age. A member of 'The Family'; as they simply style themselves, function as a; blood-related, international group of religiously devout funders, backers, and Military leaders. They share a single global aim; a Theocratic series of cooperating World Governments that place American Hegemony, and Human interests, first. Rumors of The Family's involvement with the extradimentional powers known as the Fae; and Meta-Human groups including Celestial beings, have long been hinted at, but never proven.

Members of The Family encompass Generals, Government Directors, Secretaries, Soldiers and Mercenaries. Most eventually find prestigious placement in various Military and Governmental positions globally. Despite the cachet his name offered him in various circles, Reese MacIntyre decided to go his own way, first making a career with the Army and later the NSA's SIGINT. Reese has also held more civilian placements, such as his limited tenure as Attache to the Ambassador of Dubai. His aptitude for infiltration, Wetwork, and his dogged determination made him an attractive candidate for the CIA's domestic based operations; especially given his personal expertise with Paranormal-Based incidents of Domestic-Terrorism.
