Appearance:
 A dark robed halfling stands 3' tall.  His face is lean and he keeps his head shaved bald.  A simple belt tied at his waist holds two daggers.  A jostle in a crowd and one can feel the unmistakable firmness of studded leather beneath the robe.  An iron symbol with the silhouette of a dog's head is sometimes pulled out from the robe and shown to people.  He is bare foot and carries a sturdy pack with bedroll, rope and shovel strapped to it.

Personality:
 Cade is a halfling that has seen his share of death.  He lives alone separate from the community, coming and going as needed to perform his duties.  He was always a comfort to those he visited, whether near death, injured or giving birth.  He carried the book of genealogy and was the keeper of the ledger for the community.  He also maintained the local graves.  Cade rarely spoke, he didn't need to.  Then one day, he packed and left without word.
