The Tick Tock Man

The Tick Tock Man is abnormally tall and slender, though his pronounced hunch takes at least a foot off of his final tally.  His face is continuously obscured by a branch of foliage, which hovers just in front of him at all times.  He is usually seen wearing a sweeping duster or long coat, once of fine make, but now ratty with age and lack of care.  Always, he carries a heavy walking stick, gnarled and twisted at the top into a large crook.  Hanging from this is the clock that gives the Tick Tock Man his name, a bizarre looking thing almost like a cuckoo clock, but far too small.  Hidden away on this belt is a small cage, no larger than a fist, where his true work is kept.  He rarely speaks, but when he does his voice is melodious and pleasant, though always so quiet that you need to lean in to hear it.
