Baltus Bancroft, the Birdwatcher, Stealthy Itinerant of the Order of Weavers who Weaves Stealth with Sorcery

Description: Bancroft's a hard bloke to describe, all truth be told. Not because they're hard to look at for any aesthetic reason, but because they're difficult to look at for perceptive reason. Their features blur together and constantly look just a touch out of focus, as if the looker has something in their eye, or hasn't slept in a day or two. The color of them's a blur as well, the intensity and saturation just a bit too washed out for what it should be. It always looks like Bancroft's been color graded like a character in a movie, standing in a shadow, at dusk, in the rain. When they move, the sounds they make sound about the same, as well.

Beyond the difficulty of properly perceiving them, Bancroft's style is difficult to put a finger on as well. They prefer the nondescript, simple clothes and practical garb. If one peers through the haze of them enough, Bancroft looks a touch on the young side, not a child, and it's hard to put a finger on the age of one so obscured, but it's a vibrant one. They are slim and athletic looking, and perhaps a bit undernourished, but not to the point of care.

Persona: Along with the difficulty of putting a solid pin in Bancroft's appearance, their public reputation attempts to deny classification as well.

They're often seen, when seen at all, in rather high class places. They've definitely been seen on more than an occasion, at The Luxury of Warmth, speaking familiarly with the owner, which belies a certain level of wealth.

But, on the contrary, Bancroft is often seen in alleys and slums, its even rumored they may have been a member of The Unseen Children at one point.
