Description:
He tries very hard to look like just another guy, wearing casual button down shirts, and either jeans or khakis depending on his mood. He almost always wears a pair of black, rubber like gloves that extend down over his wrist and forearm. The gloves prevent him from accidentally activating his powers. As the gloves seem a bit out of place, he usually avoids short sleeves, preferring to cover his forearms as best he can with his shirt or jacket. While his clothing is pretty casual, people may notice that it is also high end, often custom tailored and likely expensive.

As a Kid:

Personality: As a kid, Alan was the quiet one. He seemed frustrated with life at the Academy as he never measured up to the performance of his siblings. He was a bit withdrawn from the others, but that was mostly due to the fact that he struggled to keep up with his studies. While the others seemed to be able to find time to goof off, Alan would never have enough time to complete his assignments or to practice his drills. The little free time he had he spent by himself, sculpting fantastic works of art that he gifted to his siblings or left scattered across the Academy locations.

He was one of the last to leave the Academy, he had hoped that his siblings would eventually change their minds and return, but when it became evident that this wasn't going to happen Alan had little choice but to strike out on his own. In the ten years since he left, Alan has discovered a new found confidence and peace with life. He is no longer the quiet, introverted artist and he has adjusted quite well to life without his siblings. He's managed to stay out of the public eye, maintain a decent lifestyle without having to work and has fallen in love and is looking towards a bright future. The only thing he's missing is his family. He has reached out to his siblings and even manages to connect with many of them on occasion, but he misses the closeness that he felt when they were all living and raining together.

He treats his powers as more of a disability, rarely using them and doing his best no life a normal life where he can never touch anything other than metal with his bare hands.

He's currently living in Manhattan with his fiancee Natalie Silva.

Powers: He has the ability that causes anything he touches with his bare hands to turn into an elemental metal (e.g. copper, Iron, Gold, Mercury, etc.). When he concentrates, he can choose the specific metal, but if he casually touches something without specific intent then the metal is random. He wears a pair of special gloves that his father developed so as to avoid accidental contact/damage to others.
