Legal/current name: Suzume Campbell

Description:

Suzume was originally born in Japan before being "adopted" by Mr. Campbell. She has dark brown hair, even darker brown eyes that border on black, a lightly tanned complexion, and a slender build. She's been letting her hair grow out for the past year, and now wears it straight, where it reaches her shoulders. She's very short and thin - at 4'11 she barely even qualified for the Army - but stronger and more fit than she looks. She has the straight posture and wary demeanor of a combat veteran.

Number Nine was a pint-sized scrapper growing up, though she didn't pick fights with her siblings, with a penchant for bonding too strongly with those she cared about. After the deaths of her pet dog and her sister, and her disillusionment with her "father," she became more reserved and distant, though no less protective of the people she still cared about. That served her well in the Army, where her devotion to her fellow soldiers, and later those she was in command of, earned her goodwill and loyalty.

2008?: Following Cory's death, Suzume departs Daedalus Academy and enlists in the Army. Several tours of duty in the Middle East follow.

2018: Suzume is discharged from the Army following a violation of her signing agreement (collecting and testing tissue samples from her) and the intervention of Abraham Campbell's legal team. Later that year, she moves to Vermont and buys a farmhouse.
