Evangeline Donnelly

Evangeline Lauren Chandler Donnelly (usually just "Evie") is the daughter of a long and storied lineage of Manhattan "old money" aristocracy whose New York roots go all the way back to New Amsterdam, and include a handful of state senators and congressmen, a mayor of New York City, two provosts of Columbia University, two federal Secretaries of the Treasury, and Evie’s grandfather Colin, the current Governor of New York.  The Donnellys have been massively well-connected and ridiculously prosperous for over three hundred years, and for just as long they have steadfastly - even litigiously - denied the urban legends claiming that their fortune arose due to supernatural influence, pacts made with the Fair Folk of County Cork before they left the Old Country.  She's the first of the fourth generation of Donnellys to attend Kircher University for undergrad studies, where she's an incoming freshman, intending to go on to study law at Columbia just like most of those ancestors.

An intuitively social creature, easing effortlessly into the good graces of most everyone she meets, Evie in her natural habitat is rarely encountered outside the company of a sizable segment of her vast nebula of friends, though she'll be leaving much of her high school social network behind in Manhattan when she moves to rural Minnesota.  She seems to simply have a "presence" about her, an intensely sunny aura that puts people instinctively at ease, and it’s clear that she is well accustomed to being the center of attention.  Although she’s managed to avoid much of the disdainful haughtiness one might expect from a cosseted blue-blooded trust fund princess, she is known to react with petulance or indignation when she perceives that her Queen Bee standing has been slighted, or that she has not been afforded the attention or deference due her.

She's a striking presence physically as well, graced with the enchanting beauty of her family's distant fae influence: startlingly piercing icy blue eyes, very charming feminine features, high cheekbones, soft clear pale skin, and vivid auburn-red hair.  Notably small-statured, she stands at all of exactly five feet tall, built of subtle elegant curves and a slender frame suggesting a sort of delicacy that makes the idea of her participating in physical confrontation flatly absurd; she seems almost like she could scarcely stand up to a particularly enthusiastic gust of breeze, to say nothing of taking a punch.  Always attired in a manner that she deems befitting of her preferred lifestyle, she usually looks like she might have just breezed in from Fifth Avenue rather than backwoods Minnesota.
