Zarathrustra Saito, or 'Z' to her friends, is a Slight, small half-elven appearing woman of Minkian descent. She is in fact, a Ganzi, a child born of a human and azata, and her father is a human from Minkai. She finds that simply avoiding discussing the non-human side of her parentage is a lot easier than trying to explain she is not half-elven. She is barely over five feet tall, but carries a huge presence, and is stunningly beautiful. She has porcelain skin, adorned with numerous tattoos, dark hair, and a noticeable Minkian accent to her common, which is not her native tongue. Each eye is a different color, one is purple the other is green, and the purple one sometimes glows. Likewise, the chaos in her blood from her Azata side manifests in her tattoos, sometimes one or two of them appear to be moving, swirling, changing shape or glowing slightly as the maelstrom affects her blood.

Growing up, she spent half her time in Kasai in Minkai, the other half in Magnimar, which is where her father, Higatomi Saito, bases his Golarion trade operations from. She is a devoted follower of Ashava, and along with her brother Gan, have devoted themselves to bringing charity, kindness and aid to those in need, while giving those who truly wish to change their ways and turn from evil a second chance.

Her and her father chanced upon Gan when he was younger, and took the orphaned half orc in, and her father adopted him, and she is proud to call Gan her brother. She believes that it is no coincidence that the two crossed paths, and they have worked to combat evil wherever it is as a very competent team.

When adventuring or facing danger, Z wears oriental lamellar steel armor made of silvery, bright mithril, and fights with a colorful bladed scarf, honoring her goddess. When not adventuring, and passing time in situations that do not require armor, she wears silk robes and kimonos, and colorful dresses, although her scarf is always handy if needed.

Ashava's gifts flow through her, and she wields her deity's power with the intent to do as much good as possible.

In addition to her prowess wielding Ashava's divine gifts, Z is a very good baker and spends time in the kitchen of the monastery making delicious baked goods.

She is the High Priestess and Divine Representative of Ashava in Mendev and Drezen.

Zarathrustra has recently discovered that her mother is indeed Ashava herself, and that she is a fledgeling demigod. She has recently acquired part of her mother's portfolio, and is now granting spells to followers of hers.
