Priscus is a cruel man, taking delight in causing pain and harm on others. His gladiatorial shows are spectacular though, and he favours the lightweight spear-and-net fighting style of the retarii so as to prolong the suffering of his opponent. He's been offered the rudis twice, but has thus far refused it.
