Duke Silas of Zingara is a nobleman who until very recently fought in the Arena in Massantia. During one fateful bout the gladiatrix Saestra emasculated him in the middle of the arena, and she was beaten to within an inch of her life and forced to pay a small fortune in reparations as punishment.

Duke Silas is close friends with Prince Vellus.
