In a crowded hall one would be hard put to pick out the Dardanus among other men of the Kithran Empire. Indeed he has a very common look with his shoulder length dark hair, strong, but ordinary features. He is a little taller than average, but not so much that its immediately obvious.

And yet, despite his common appearance his dignity is immediately distinguishable, his baring is upright and indomitable; he has the baring of a man with limitless will and internal power. His eyes remove any doubt of his nobility. His eyes are dark and intense. There is a depth to them, a wisdom, a deep compassion.

He has ruled the Kithran Empire since he founded it 400 years ago. He has no heirs, and his only relatives are dragons. He has guided his empire with the advice of his Senate and Scholars into prosperity.

Personality:
Dardanus is stoic, honorable, polite, calm, and usually expressionless. Despite his seemingly cold outside, he is just and kind. He is known to loosen up with those he knows well.


Brief History:
During the 800 years Dardanus has lived he has been many things to many people. He's been a druid who woke the trees and the animals of the forest and became the Wakener. The trees and animals came at his call. Then he became a hero, deposing his uncle and redeeming his throne. Then he was a king, who ruled with wisdom and compassion. He was exiled from his own kingdom, while his nephew, a dragon, ruled in his stead. He was called the Exiled. While in exile he meditated upon a mountain top in the blistering cold to achieve enlightenment and offer counsel to dragons. From his mountain hermitage he astral projected himself across the planes. Eventually he came into service of the gods of the Seven Mounting Heavens of Celestia, enacting their will across the planes. At the end of his service he was gifted holy texts by the gods. With those holy texts he founded the Kithran Empire.

Dardanus's familiar is an arctic fox named Eden. She likes salty fish like sardines or herring, and prefers pampering to combat, preferring to remain hidden during adventures. However sometimes she will shape shift with Dardanus via their bond and join a melee.
