A middle aged man in his late 40s, Ser Aldrew wears the traditional red priest robes with ring armor hidden underneath. He is well built and strong, making it clear that despite his age, he is still a fearsome warrior. His weapon of choice is ball and chain alongside a shield.

Ser Aldrew Catell was a household knight sworn to Stannis Baratheon. A father of two sons who left as soon as they got old enough, one deciding to compete in tournaments all around Westeros, the other sailing beyond the Narrow Sea and never returning. Neither having much contact with their father beyond an occassional letter. After he became a widower, he felt something missing from his life. He tried to find solace in the faith of the seven, but growing frustrated with the silence of the Seven, he searched for something else.

That came when the Red Woman, Melisandre arrived to his Lord Stannis and showed all of them the one true faith. He became one of the first Westerosi converts to embrace the faith in lord of light, eventually becoming an acolyte and a true red priest himself. Afterwards, he changed. His already strong will and resolve grew considerably, turning to zeal to see R'hllor's will done. He accompanied his lord on all of his campaigns as a warrior-priest, including his failed assault on King's Landing. Now, he lives mainly to defend the faith that gave him purpose, purge the Others that threaten to destroy everything and see his lord Stannis become the king of the Seven Kingdoms.
