Physical Description
Cedric is a young man standing just under six feet tall. His build is lean, but hard; weathered by years of war and captivity, despite never having seen winter. Unlike many Stormlanders, Cedric has a Rhoynish cast to his features, a token to his mother's ancestry.

Though a handsome youth, he sports a scar across his right eyebrow and often wears black gloves, due to the large numbers of scars that disfigure his hands - a reminder of his time imprisoned with the Freys.

Family Line
Cedric Caron is the only surviving child of Ser Beric Caron, a knight who befriended Lord Gerrard Icemark on the tourney circuit and fought with him during the Greyjoy Rebellion. His mother was a lady-in-waiting at Starfall, seduced by Beric, and though Ser Beric's indiscretion was erased through marriage, Cedric's mother remained an outsider at Nightsong until her death three years after the wedding.

Personal History

Cedric was warded with House Icemark several years before the War of the Five Kings and would be known to members of House Icemark. He was captured and imprisoned with Lord Gerrard, having served as his loyal squire during the war, including at the battle of the camps and Oxcross.
