Personality: Befitting his position as a senior in the company, Hakim is very professional when he's on the clock and dedicated to the pursuit of science in any way or form. But not to the point where he's standoffish as he's remarkably friendly toward his coworkers. He seldom judges people by their academic pedigree.

About the character: Hakim came to America nearly thirty years ago as a graduate student at MSU in the nineties. It was a difficult transition, as he struggled with a new land, new culture and he struggled as a student in his early years of study. He overcame his difficulties with his dedication and very hard work and took a research position at NuGen after graduating with his Ph.D. He has proven himself as a valuable member of the team at NuGen, and risen through the ranks to become a very senior scientist at the Midvale facility.
