Born in February 27^th 1600 , Luc is the bastard son of the Baron Benjamin d'Aoun with a fisherman's daughter whom he felt in love in his youth. Despite their love, the d'Aoun family economic situation lead him to marry a rich merchant's daugher, though he always took care of Luc and his mother.

Nonetheless, the clear jelousy the Baron's wife showed to him led Luc to leave the Barony for Paris, where he expects to make his own fortune and name.
