GENERAL ATTIRE:
Fionn commonly dresses in clothing characteristic of a pirate from American cinema, only favoring the warm autumn color palette over plain black. Specifically, his general attire consists of a canvas waistcoat worn over a flowing linen shirt. From there, he sports a leather sash around his waist, a pair of canvas breeches and cavalier boots. Accentuating things are a leather headband, gold hoop pirate earrings through each earlobe, and a teardrop-shaped silver locket worn underneath his shirt which he isn't ever found without. The tarnished locket is embossed with the Seagull Phratry's familiar crest and houses a picture depicting Kira teasing Fionn by holding a paper sailboat high out of reach back when they were but wee children. Rounding out things is the concave eye patch which Fionn wears to conceal the scars and empty socket left after Thatcher gouged out his right eye. While, he has many different eye patches for all sorts of occasions, he typically opts for a brown or black one made from light and soft fabric such as silk.
PERSONALITY:
Don't let the keen mind, ironbound tome (of nautical diagrams) at his waist, or devilishly good looks deceive you. Fionn is a dirty, rotten scoundrel who will most definitely kick a man while he's down. Lying, cheating and stealing are second nature to him, and he certainly doesn't have any particular aversion to bloodshed. This isn't to say that he's a murder hobo or anything, rather that he doesn't get squeamish or wet himself at the thought of killing someone. Of course, he couldn't call himself a pirate if his mouth wasn't dirtier than an otyugh's tookus. Despite Fionn's many rough edges, he isn't without honor, not completely anyway. Family and camaraderie reign supreme among his values. Truly, there isn't anything that Fionn wouldn't sacrifice to protect his family and friends despite stating otherwise regularly. Beyond this, he's courageous and frequently concocts comical excuses as pretext to combat oppression without appearing soft. Lastly, Fionn's word is his bond. Although, convincing him to give his word in earnest often requires one to be trickier than a fox.
