Biography:
A senior doctor of psychology and psychiatry at Gotham University before the bombs fell, Doctor Cynthia Fortuna is an expert at dealing with people. And when she's in a bad place, she's an expert at using people. But, it's always for the greater good, because no one else knows better. Cynthia genuinely wants to help people, but she's so good as directing people without them knowing it, and there's so much work to be done, that she would feel just as guilty if she let them make their stupid mistakes and learn their lessons the hard way (if they learned at all).

As a side effect of her manipulative tendencies, the real Cynthia is an elusive thing. She is many things to many people to ensure those people do what she wants. But for the last couple of year, since the apocalypse, she has had to wear so many masks so often that the real her might not be there anymore. She's so focused on saving the world that she might already be lost.

For better or worse, as a member of the Wayne Tower Council she has a real chance to do good in what remains of the world. So even if she was willing to admit to what she has become, there's too much at stake for her to stop.
