SIRE's A.N.G.E.L.S (Advanced Nanotech reGeneration, Extraction, and Life Support) were created to assist heroes in the field. When villains attack the city the Angels are deployed to minimize civilian casualties. They have proven to be so successful that many heroes owe their lives to the timely arrival of a so-called Battle Angel hitting them with a shot of advanced nanotech healing to get them back on their feet.
