Eunice Pigg

Appearance: Eunice Pigg knows that the Universe has a wicked sense of humor as she has discovered herself to be the butt of many bad jokes in her life, but she hopes that at least someone is enjoying the humor.  She stands 5'5' and weighs 300 lbs.  Taken in conjunction with her short nose that is tipped up with larger nostrils, she finds that she actually resembles the creature that has given her a last name.  Some women would be bitter, but she got over any anger or discomfort in jr. high when many of her would-be tormentors suddenly erupted in pimples that left them looking like pizza faces that would badly scar afterwards while Eunice's completion remained clear and rosy.  Her hair is ash blonde naturally, and her eyes are a deep grey.  She has come to terms with her overall appearance and finds herself, if not beautiful, at least fair of face and with a great butt.

Her weight is nowadays far more due to muscles than to flab for which she is glad because a doctor has to be strong and able to stay on her feet for long hours while taking care of patients.  She prefers to wear dark blue jeans and is constantly looking for black ones.  Her tee shirts are also black in order to show as little blood and other bodily juices as possible.  White coats and nurse's uniforms never made much sense to Eunice since someone was always bound to upchuck or bleed all over these things that would require bleaching as well as washing.  Her one nod to , if not fashion, at least personal individuality are the blue track shoes with the white stripes on them that she wears.  She is very comfortable in her Starsky shoes and is quietly amused when she looks down and sees them.

Phycological Evaluation by Dr. Dorian Gray at the request of Sandra Dee: Pigg's expertise in the field of medicine is often doubted by outsiders who think that her bulk and casual attire mean that she is clumsy and has a tendency for slovenliness.  This is ridiculous as she is always neat and clean as much as her chosen profession allows; her brilliant mind is keen and alert and quite visible when one looks her in the eye, and her large form is anything but clumsy.  She can be a tank when enemies make it necessary, and is always the kindest of angels if allowed to be so to her patients.

Eunice seems content and happy, though she might long for physical contact with another human. Not perhaps in a carnal sense, yet for comfort if nothing else. While she seems to be very comfortable with her own body, she does not seem as comfortable with it around others. Not long after she joined up with Sandra and the others, Dee ordered a pizza party and an orgy since Sandra thinks she might die at any moment and thus wants to live her life free and to the fullest as much as possible. The good doctor declined to attend, going instead to a cabin she shared at the time with me. I went to keep her company, and we ended up cuddling naked under the covers. Nothing else occurred, so Eunice might simply have missed a human's touch and been concerned what the others might have thought of her short and large naked form. Though of no real psychological importance, in the desire to make this report as full and complete as possible she might also be a lesbian yet be unaware of it herself at this point. She dresses casually in more male style clothing, does not use makeup or perfumes, and is devoid of jewelry. These things could well be explained in various ways, yet they are also preferences some lesbians exhibit. While she like anyone else deserves a loving relationship, it is a strong possibility that she will feel a strong attraction to anyone who accepts her body or especially shows a true sexual desire in it. This chance might increase, if the other person is a woman.

On a functional level, she is a capable doctor and a good person. She also carries a custom .50 caliber revolver, and has full knowledge and the will to use it. There have been no ill effects of her joining the group, and foresee none. She has also shown herself capable of stepping into a leadership roll, and can shoulder the added responsibility without visible problems.

End Evaluation.

History: Eunice grew up in a farming community, having moved from Chicago when her Grandfather died. Her mother moved them in with Eunice's Grandmother, to help with upkeep and chores so it wouldn't be lost to back taxes and other such fears.

As a little girl, one of Eunice's favorite things to do was to listen to her mother talk about how she worked in a factory during World War II, building the machines that eventually led to victory. It inspired the child, allowed her to dream freely of what she herself might one day do.

She came to realize that while farm life suited her parents and grandmother, she herself had no desire to listen to her bones creak while she harvested crops for yet another yet in her golden twilight. She knew producing food was important, but it gave her no sense of fulfillment so she searched for something else to do.

She ended up helping the local vet, at first just straightening his office and performing minor chores. But she was keen to learn what she could, asked many questions, and managed to get permission to borrow his books. She read these cover to cover, slow going though it was at her younger age. Still anything she didn't understand she made notes to ask about, and eventually the vet warmed up to her pretty well. He began taking her on calls to various farms around the community, allowing her to watch as he examined and treated large animals. She graduated to handing him things, and finally up to doing some of the hands on work herself in small cases under his guiding and watchful eye.

Things grew hard for the community when the Draft came around, and many young strong men were sent off to war. Eunice remembered her mother's stories and ached to make a difference, so she caught a ride into the nearest town and enlisted.

At first she was dumped into a secretarial pool, and given training on short hand along with other boring things. She kept pushing for something in the medical field at least, and was assigned to a hospital. It was there that a doctor noticed how well she took notes and spelled numerous medical terms correctly. He asked if she had any experience or training, nd she told him about her old desire to be a large animal vet. She was quick to follow up with the things she actually did and assisted with, in fear she would be dismissed as some unlearned hick.

Her attempt to impress him worked, and he decided to try her out as a Nursing Assistant. She turned out to be better than some of the actual nurses he worked with, and her encouraged her to pursue actual nursing certification. He loaned her books as the vet had, quizzed her on various things, and would suddenly call out a question she had to answer in limited time. It payed off, and she was a registered nurse.

Eventually the doctor got called to a MASH unit that was understaffed, and he asked if she would go with him. Eunice agreed, and she saw the city fade away to the jungles of Vietnam.

The MASH was in bad shape from an enemy attack, but worse yet they thought they were safe when the enemies had other ideas. The nurses were taken somewhere to keep the guarded and safe, but Unice refused to go; instead she grabbed a rifle from the supply tent, and stood her ground with the men. They were impressed, which confused her at first since everyone in a farming community knows how to shoot.

The doctor was recalled to the hospital when permanent ones were found, but the MASH CO liked Eunice's grit and requested she stay. She did so, and held her cool no matter how swamped things got. She was overworked at times as they all were, but never complained about it. Her rank had increased when she became an actual nurse, then again when she'd helped fend off the invaders. It kept going, until she was a Major. The other nurses urged her to become a Nurse Practitioner, but Eunice wanted something else. After ducking bullets and swatting bugs for ten years, she returned home and applied to every medical college she could find until she finally got accepted.

She worked her butt off, managed to get a Residency at a inner city hospital with bad funding and stuck it out there for the required time. She felt it was all worth it, when in the end she became a MD.

That was until she applied for work, and kept getting declined. She did manage a few offers, but the positions were no better than a nurse. She refused to give up on her dream, and did finally land a spot at ironically the very one she'd been a Resident at.

Then the real headache began, constantly having to ask for more money to keep even basic supplies on hand when she saw male doctors smile and glad hand their way to nice, juicy grants. Evenin her own hospital her department got cut first before any ran by a man, and while they got any funds available she was told nothing could be spared even if she put her request in first.

One night she was covering the ER as a favor, when several men came in; they wore suits and sunglasses even though it was night, and a coiled wire worked it way up to an ear each. They cleared the waiting room by flashing badges, then brought in a body bag. When they opened it, Eunice saw it contained a living man. He was hurt badly, but the doctor had not seen wounds like these outside of the War and even then there was no explanation for them.

Allowed only a skeleton staff in the OR, Eunice called upon her past knowledge to save the man's life. Then the group left, after taking all notes and recordings even from the EKG and cautioning those present to never mention the event to anyone.

That wasn't the end of the strangeness however, as those who had been involved in the operation seemed to suddenly hit a spot of really good luck; one of the nurses had a chronically sick child, who was suddenly admitted to the best hospital available for his condition. Another had her car paid off, and a tech arrived to work in a brand new car well above his pay.

Eunice thought at first she had been overlooked, until she opened her trunk one day in order to put groceries inside and found a suitcase. She took it home with her, thinking it would be some gesture along the lines of what the others had received; she was wrong, because it contained a great deal of money. Above and beyond what the others had gotten dollar for dollar, likely because she was the one directly responsible for saving the stranger's life.

It was in that moment that Eunice decided this was her chance to pull out of the rut she'd been forced into. Her mother had told her wonderful stories, but as a child Eunice had ignored the fact that after WWII was over that same woman was tossed aside like nothing. The Doctor had this money because she had not followed the rules, and done a off the books operation that had actually meant something to someone.

She was done following orders in a Man's world, sitting on the floor beneath the feasting table and rushing to gobble up whatever scraps fell before the others forced in her position got there first. She was a vet, nurse, doctor, and pretty darn good shot all rolled into one. She had tried to survive in the existing society, and now she was going to smash her own hole and walk through.

The money went into buying a state of the art van, plus the best medical supplies she could afford. Not blood pressure cuffs and tongue depressors, but an operating table, over head light, secondary battery to run things in the back of the vehicle, and whatever else she could think an OR would need. She made her own MASH, and even in fact managed to get some of the portable versions of larger machines meant for use in a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. She knew she'd have to charge well for her services, but better that than arguing over getting a box of thermometers.
