Sandra Dee

Description: Sandra Dee is taller than the female average by four inches, and that's not counting the steel-toed boots she is often found wearing.

Her natural blond hair falls about her head if she does nothing with it, and her storm-gray eyes are often hidden behind sunglasses.

At 180 lbs. Sandra might not seem overly strong, but in the instances she's not decked out in her biker gear or the like, it's possible to see the muscle corded under her skin.

Psychological Evaluation as performed by Dr. Dorian Gray: Unlike my other evaluations of group members, this one was not requested by Sandra. Still, I feel I would be remiss if I did not include it along with the others.

Sandra is, to say the least, a very interesting case. If I had gone into a psychological practice and she had been presented to me, I might very well have had her heavily sedated or even locked away for her good and that of the community as a whole.

Of course had I gone into regular practice, I would not have staked all I am and could be in Acadamia on the Supernatural. So her just believing in such could have gotten me to medicate or commit her. Even without that in consideration, she believes whole heartedly that she's descended from John Dee, the Court Wizard to Queen Elizabeth the First (God save, yada yada). However, she has demonstrated actual magickal abilities, so this seems to support her claim.

She was raised from birth to combat the Supernatural, and as such was cloistered away from other humans during the crucial developmental years. A result of this is her speech, which is very blunt and lacks any of the nuances society teaches us to use. Her actions and attitude also reflect this, as she has no issues with nudity of self or who sees her. She is even at ease with others present, if involved in a sexual act with a partner.

Her isolationist life and upbringing prepared her for a life lived alone, until sudden death at the hands of some entity or monster. Given his family tradition and history, this is understandable.

When approached by others to join the ranks of the hunters of the unknown, she was resistant, and it turns out with very good reason; none of us took it as seriously as we should, we brushed off her repeated warnings as though choosing this life was some kind of weekend game. We know now it isn't, that she was trying to keep us away from dangerous we couldn't hope to fantom, and while it did not cost me my life it did that of others.

Sandra did not want a leadership roll, but she has stuck with it admirably. My half brother Sammy had a case of 'love at first sight' when she used him for sexual release, yet she keeps him around in something of a pet capacity. This is their choice, so I see nothing wrong with it.

During an experiment gone wrong, a woman from the 1800s came into our time. Her name is Susan, and after a meeting of the fists so to speak she and Sandra fell madly and hard in love with each other. They have an odd relationship, that of Alpha and Beta, where Susan assures Sandra gets the very best of everything while Sandra in turn gives Susan the best of what's left. Despite this not being something I'm familiar with in human relationships, it seems very real for them and fits them both perfectly. I have no doubt their feelings are real, and if anyone were to hurt one Hell would fast approach in the form of the other.

Sandra did what she needed to do the calling she was born into, without regret. This was possible because she was alone, and had only herself to worry about and contend with. She was sexually free with her body to both men and women, but that was simply pleasures of the flesh and naught more.

Now she has a group she lead, a simpering 'puppy' of a boyfriend who aches for her attention and touch, and a Beta she'd move heave and earth for and who would do the same without question for her. She has handled these roles well, despite the upbringing or lack thereof she received.

She still lives her fast and wild lifestyle, as though any momet could be her last. I wonder though, now that she has a deep relationship and people counting on her, if this will cause complications at some point she'd thus been able to avoid being a 'lone wolf'.

End Evaluation.

History: John Dee was the Court physician for Queen Elizabeth the First of England back in the 1600s, but that was only his official title on the surface; he was in fact a Wizard, a student and researcher of the Mystic Arts who used his abilities to benefit the Queen. More than that he battled the elements of Darkness, drove back the clawed shadows and hissing unknown. So good was he at these tasks that Angels rewarded him, and taught John their own tongue.

The Wizard was human, and not safe from the advancement of time. His body aged, his bones ached, and eventually Death claimed him as is natural. As stalwart a defended against Evil he was, John could not escape the grave. His wisdom, passion, desire for mystic knowledge, Oath to defend Mankind from the things they were willingly ignorant about, that was a different matter indeed.

The Dee line continued with a child who took over where their father was forced by natural order to stop, and they too took to Magick to defend the defenseless.

When the Queen died, the closest blood to her was a nephew named James. He took the throne, and used his position of power to act upon his paranoia of Witchcraft and all who practiced it.

This did nothing to the Dee clan but drive them underground, and make their activities all the more secret. Generation after generation they stood watch, the world's unseen protectors. To their impressive Magickal skill, the Dee line added other training such as unarmed fighting and weapons.

To this day a Dee travels the lands, seeking to add to her arsenal of spells and rituals but also to eliminate any threat she might find.
