KATT is an Artificial Intelligence, housed in an Armored and leaded modified Military Humvee.

She was the brain child of Hank Richards, who was inspired to create her after he saw the pilot episode of 'Knight Rider' in 1983.

Since the car in the show was named 'KITT', Hank thought it would be funny to dub his creation 'KATT'.
