Canas is tall, especially for a half-elf, but his pointed ears and thin frame give him away. His black hair has streaks of premature grey running through it and his green eyes are sunken in his face with deep bags underneath them. His face is thin and pale almost to the point of being gaunt and he has the distinct look of someone who doesn't get enough sleep. He wears a long brown cloak and carries a wooden staff. Affixed to the top of the staff is a black crystal. He can almost always be found with a bag of books and other scholarly implements slung over his shoulder.
