Gelric fits the description of a typical blacksmith: big muscles, unafraid of getting dirty hands, used to building up a sweat, and accustomed to solving problems. He really enjoys the blacksmithing, but life as a soldier gave him a bit of a wakeup call about the world at large, and the need for people who are willing to go out and face the dangers that are out there. He has a wife and a six year old daughter, and though he trusts in the might of the military, he knows there are dangers out in the world that need to be dealt with that aren't just other armies of men.

Gelric has lived in Carrowsport for 28 years. He spent most of his youth there and apprenticed to a blacksmith until he joined the army and served as a blacksmith and soldier for eight years. Now that he's left the service, it's time to be more proactive than reactive.
