The most notable aspect of Jean is his intense brown eyes, he can focus on a thing or person to the exclusion of others, even himself.

When he's in his normal form he is a wisp of a man, shorter and thinner than average, partially malnourished though focus on his ever increasing personal projects.

His clothes are usually simple but extremely well made of quality materials. A puffy green tunic and black pants. Over which he wears a broadbelt inlaid with  silver beasts. A silver band across his brow is mostly hidden under his otherwise simple cap. The only weapon he openly carries is an musket, the rest being "away".
