Gumm is tall and swarthy, powerfully built, with a face that has been known to make flowers wilt... leading certain uncharitable individuals to speculate that some blood of the foul folk runs through his veins.  There is a conspicuous scar on his neck from an arrow wound suffered during a famous battle long ago.  His breath always smells of garlic, even when he hasn’t eaten any.
