James Gill is employed as a Ranch Hand out on the Cleary property, where he has worked for about four years. Still on probation for his crimes against the crown, he has kept a low profile, living out of one of the small outbuildings and occasionally coming into town to socialize.

In a previous life he was a Farrier by trade, and has kept up that practice for a little coin on the side. He is soft spoken, and rough in his appearance.

Possessed of light brown hair and dark green eyes, he wears a full beard and is deeply tanned by the sun. Probably in his thirties, he is a large man, and carries himself with a sort of weariness that belies his years.
