Vanaar stands just over six feet tall in height, with a body that is athletic and muscled from years of manual labor, fighting, and exercise. His hair is long and dirty blond, usually tied back but in length down to his shoulders. He has piercing blue eyes and an easy smile, usually a beard or the start of one on his face. He wears a chain shirt over his cold weather outfit made of leather and furs. He carries a beautifully-made and carved longbow, along with a large quiver of arrows. He has a few axes on his person as well as a very large two-handed spiked hammer.
