Towering over even the largest Viking Garnog is clearly at least part giant.  Eight feet tall, and built like a walking slab of meat and bone that nobody in their right mind would challenge to a physical contest.  Fortunately his right mind is neither aggressive, nor particularly quick, so anyone wishing to engage him in a less dangerous manner tends to find that quite the reasonable proposition.

Known by anyone willing to learn to be both friendly and helpful Garnog has never acquired a taste for the typical aggressive competition among warriors, nor has he ever lost such a challenge when forced upon him.  Perfectly comfortable to live in the community and help when asked Garnog eats a lot of food, but only that which is exchanged for his assistance in various tasks the little people tend to find difficult.

Having adjusted his equipment and fighting style a little bit over time Garnog now uses a shield made from a much larger and considerably stronger than the normal shield he has mounted to the center of it, the one salvaged from Kara after she meet her fate.  His fighting style has remained largely unchanged but he has also added a Dire wolf's pelt to what he wears, likely for the change in weather, the head beast he slayed himself incorporated into his old helmet.
