Biography:
Originally from Kalos, Portia spent her youth as a latchkey kid who got into trouble more often than not, which resulted in a tense relationship with her mostly-absent parents.  She was in no position to go on a journey as a Trainer but befriended wild urban Pokemon all the same, as they were her best companions in those unpleasant years.  However, eventually Portia's trouble-making ways became too much; what began merely as childish mischief turned into minor crimes as she aged.  Her parents sought to nip that problem in the bud before Portia could end up turning into a total delinquent or be recruited into some troublesome gang, though their idea of sending her to a boarding school in the countryside was far from ideal.  While Portia boarded the train without a word, only her luggage ever arrived - the girl herself vanished without a trace.

It had been years since Portia turned her back on her family and Kalos alike.  She told herself it was for the best and traveled the various regions without aim, enjoying a life of adventurous vagrancy.  As she was prone to seeking out thrills and unique experiences, there was no way she could pass up getting the chance to go traipsing around a strange foreign area like the Cadien Region when its borders eased.  Though she agreed to handle the League challenge in order to gain access to the region, it was little more than an excuse - Portia had no real interest in such things and was more keen on exploring what the area had to offer.
