Marc Laidig

• Character Name: Marc Laidig
• Concept:  Ex-con Hobo cleaning up his patch of dirt and asphalt
• Tribe: Hunter in Darkness
• Auspice: Rahu
• IC Goals: Eliminate all Pure presence from the city. Cultivate a resonance of Law in his territory. Support Urban Development/Beautification.
• OOC Goals: A full Sacred Hunt against a powerful spirit. A friendly fight/competition/negotiation of alliance with another local pack.
• Notes: Marc grew up a normal city kid in a bad neighborhood. He had just graduated high school with plans to attend a local community college to get a degree in criminal justice. One night while he was walking home from a party under the full moon, some thugs thought he was easy pickings despite Marc’s size and athletic build. Marc never liked bullies. Usually flexing and staring them down was enough. He told the thugs to piss off and was slugged for his words. They proceeded to pound on him until the First Change took hold. He had warned them...

That night landed him in city lockup for manslaughter. The lawyer was able to claim that his client was defending himself against multiple armed men which held up to drop his sentence and allow parole. Prison wasn’t easy, but luckily a pack of Hunters in Darkness who consisted of both inmates and a couple of guards had claimed the prison as their territory. They showed him the ropes and kept him out of trouble. He served his eight years and got out. The whole town shunned him including his family, so he kept traveling north until he hit Canada where nobody knew of him. Being an ex con made him ineligible for most work. He was fine with that and lived in the streets as a hobo scrounging through trash for clothes and other needs while hunting in Urhan out in the woods. It wasn’t easy but it was honest and everyone left him alone for the most part. Besides, it’s easier to monitor your territory when you don’t have to worry about silly things like jobs and managing a home.
