Castle is US Army Special Operations and he looks the part. Most of his gear is US issue although mismatched in some details. There are odd bits of "liberated" equipment, some Polish, some Soviet, even a couple of pieces of Chinese issue.

He often changes his lead off weapon to suit the current mission and sometimes has to be reminded to take a sidearm but he virtually always has a couple of knives and an odd canvas case about the size of a camcorder.
