History:  Roger is the son of a career military family.  His father a captain in the Navy, his mother a Aerospace engineer.  Roger is quite happy with his life he loves SciFi and Fantasy, reads a lot but is also pretty outgoing. He takes Tae Kwon Do, goes to the shooting range with his dad, actually owns a handgun father bought him a Glock 17 he loves and goes bow hunting with his father every year on an outing.  His little sister Samantha is two years younger than him and idolizes him.  Because of his parents demanding career both Roger and his sister see them sporadically, often being alone, so they have become somewhat self-sufficient.  Roger is a part of the ROTC in school, competes in the school kendo team.  He plans to enter flight school and join the Air Force... somewhat to his father's annoyance.  He wants to protect those around him... and sees a life of service to his fellow countrymen a high goal.  He's a hero at heart. So playing in the Holy Grail Quest just seemed to be something interesting to do... something he could do with his sister to keep her company.  But to Roger its not that he win... but How he wins should he do so.  He's more interested in meet fellow heroic souls and building lasting relationships.

The truth is he is lonely... his family is more than affluent, but with his parent's careers he has mostly had to be his on his own.  His family moves about quite a bit so online he never has to leave friends far behind.

Roger is helpful, encouraging, and never ignores a plea for help or someone he sees in pain or sad.  Great guy but no close friends.  Kind of shy around pretty girls.

His sister... Samantha is a Brawler / Blood Rager.  She just likes to party and break things... she is SUCH a 'wildchild' Clearly STARVING for attention.



As Sun Phoenix his avatar is a male half-elf of Drow descent. He stands 6'2" and weighs 170lbs his build being a lean and wirey physique. His hair in often an unkempt mop of shock white worn free and long to almost the center of his back.  His eyes are deep pools of amber.  Gifted with handsome features his skin is a dark grey hue with inky blue-purple tints.  A trained warrior and it has left its mark on him in calloused rough hands and faded scars across his body - though none facial.  His gaze is gentle and caring.

His Armor and gear of all self-crafted and stylized with ornate rose and angelic patterns, and silver hued.  His tabard and cloak are a royal blue.

Tattooed in gold on his back is a beautiful phoenix in animated flight wreathed in stellar flames.

Sun Phoenix's father was a Drow elf, Shar Azrinae, who found redemption abandoned the darklands and fought in the Third Crusade in Mendeev.  He fought valiantly and gained great honor... and even Greater enemies.  After many years fighting for Mendeev, he was injured killing a greater demon... but was cursed with it's last dying breath.  He lost his spellcasting power for he was a Fighter / Wizard and retired from the crusade.  He left Dresen and somewhere on the way to Last Wall acquired a half-dark elven son.  Never explained who the child's mother was and took up residence in Last Wall.  Shar wanted to completely abandon his Drow past and so gave his son a non-drow, non-elven name at all.  In Last Wall, he fought against the unending hordes of Goblinoids in a limited capacity.  But not long after his arrival, his past finally caught up with him and his drow family sent a hit squad to slay him.  He was poisoned and slowly died.. but not before he delivered his son to the church of IOMEDAE to raise and take care of and raise.  That child is Sun Phoenix.
