Character Description: (Faceclaim: Katie McGrath) Rather tall and athletically built, she still holds her femininity. A strong jaw sets her rather attractive features, although some might consider them less delicate. She has rather striking, light green eyes with the right being slightly bluer than the other. Her hair is long and thick and she is known to wear it in a variety of styles depending on desire or necessity. Her dress is also varied, from a Lady's finery to a Knight's armor and weapons...and she is eminently comfortable in both.


Personality: A bright, bold, and blunt woman. She does not suffer fools well and her patience for intrigue is constantly being tested. She speaks plainly, yet still can have a witty and oft times biting sense of humor. She can take as well as she gives and her mind is constantly at work. She feels more at home with soldiers than at court, but her sense for plots allows her to fair well enough, despite her frustration with the dangerous games played there. She is rather intense, but understands that if one works hard, one should also set aside time to play hard, as well.



Special Skills/Education: She is a born tactical and strategic genius. Natural talent enhanced by training and experience. She had the benefit of some of the best tutors when her potential was discovered. She is charismatic, a natural leader, and seems to have an almost preternatural awareness of her surroundings.


History: There was never any doubt this young woman was a Mormont. From Lyrielle's earliest moments, she seemed to breath the very essence of the House. Strong and tough and bright, she challenged her tutors from the very beginning. Some might argue that she should have been born a boy and, perhaps, born earlier in the family line, but she would have none of that. She revels in the relative freedom of being the seventh child and fifth daughter.

Bear Island and the North being what they are, she was tested early and often, each time rising to the challenge. She has proven her skill as a warrior, but most importantly, as a leader of men. She has fought many times against the Ironborn and various other Houses and Wildlings in skirmish and pitched battle and has always returned victorious. That said, she feels the weight of sacrifice in every victory and it drives her to do better.

Her travels have been primarily in the western shores of the North, yet she has made a handful of visits to Winterfell. She has been as far North as Shadow Tower at The Wall and as far South as Flint's Finger. She has even been to White Harbor, but then only once. Her travels were a mix of military operations and of getting her seen as a possible match for marriage.

She is getting to the age where marriage is looming, but she has managed to avoid the political demands thus far.
