Description:
Trevyr is 64 tall and weighs 230 pounds. He possesses a muscular, athletic build. He has brown hair that he wears trimmed short and blue eyes. Most of the time he wears a chain mail vest and carries a long sword and dagger. However, he does own a suit of Plate Armor. When not in his armor, his clothes are nice but dated. He has an outstanding bass singing voice that he used to sing bawdy songs after a few drinks. Since he is a warrior there are many smaller scars on his arns, legs, and torso but they are not generally too pronounced.
Personality:
Trevyr is friendly and has generally optimistic viewpoint. He tends to see the best in people even though the people he has been around (mostly mercenaries) has made it a difficult task. He is a brave and courageous fighter who believes in leading the way and is at the forefront of combat.
Background:
Trevyr's father, Jon Ashwood, is a brother of the current Lord of House Ashwood, Lord Petyr Ashwood. Trevyrs birth had complications which almost killed his mother. His family consists of his parents and two older sisters and a younger brother. His sisters are now married and have families of their own. His oldest sister is married to an Cassel his other sister is married to a Tallhart.
When he was about 16 years old, Trevyr began training under Lord Ashwoods Master at Arms named Jacen White. He trained Trevyr in fighting skills, including mounted, sword, and throwing axe. When Trevyr reached 18 years old, his father arranged for Trevyr to marry Helena Poole. Although Trevyr had nothing personally against Helena, he felt he wasnt ready to marry. When Trevyr told his father that he refused to marry, his father went into a rage and drew a dagger. Then, when Trevyr tried to push past his father and leave, he accidently knocked his father down, causing him to break an arm in the fall and his father also received an nasty cut from the dagger . From that day forward, Trevyr was disowned, his younger brother married Helena Poole, and his now heir to their cadet branch of the house..
Trevyr uses the sigil of House Ashwood by on his shield and above it is written the words, the Disinherited One. He traveled to Essos at 18 after the incident with his father. He joined with and fought in the Golden Company, a well known mercenary company, as a freerider (mounted sell sword). He became a skilled, battle hardened warrior fighting in the continual battles between the Free Cities of Essos over then next 3 years. During one of the many battles the Golden company was involved in, Trevyr was about 21 at the time, there was an attack in the night from an enemy raiding party. The fighting was fierce and Trevyr saved the Captains life in the fighting. As he saved the Captain, Trevyr received several light wounds. The Captain rewarded Trevyr with plate armor, and the freedom to freely leave the company whenever he chose. Trevyr stayed for another year before leaving Essos for Westeros in 219 AC. Trevyr fought for the Targaryen side in the Blackfyre rebellion of 219 that recently ended. Since then, he has been wandering around Westeros as a freerider and occassionally participating in tourmanents that weren't only limited to nobles. Trevyr cant officially use the Ashwood name ans sigil which is the reason for the words, The Disinherited One above the sigil.
