LaRuche, or his birth name of Avery Ayotte, is a young man in his late twenties. He's got a slight build and dark blonde hair that looks in desperate need of a cut. Bright blue eyes stand out from his fair skin that comes from somebody who has spent too much time indoors. He tends to wear comfortable, but striking fabrics; reflecting an appreciation for fashion. He is quieter than most, only speaking up when he feels his expertise is needed. When he does talk, he always seems to be struggling to find the right description for even some simple concepts.

In the Fallen World, Avery, despite being a New York native, is only really known in circles. As an artist, he is most known for his large scale paintings that have been featured in a few major galleries and exhibitions. His work is always priced high -- most believing too high -- leaving many of his works going unsold and keeping him from truly making the scene. As a mechanic, he is the owner of "Ayotte's Autos", a garage near the east end of Manhattan that's clearly been around longer than Avery has. A third of the garage has become a workshop full of newer, cutting edge, processing machinery that goes beyond the garage's typical needs.

In the Awakened World, LaRuche fancies himself a 'supernal artist', but also believes the term to be somewhat redundant; both art and the supernal are about bringing something to its potential. The Obrimos is a recent member of the Mysterium and the Forge Master Legacy.
