Estelle Denton

Character Name:  Estelle Denton

Code name:  Haunt

Alias:  Spooky

Physical Description: Estelle appears to be an attractive woman in her mid to late twenties.  Her long brown hair and blue eyes tend to be her best features.  Estelle is of average height and good fitness.  Her well groomed appearance suggests a degree of affluence and privilege (even if she is 'self made').  Estelle prefers corporate wear and does not have a 'hero costume'.

Personality: Estelle comes across as a confident woman with good style and manners.  There is however a small sense of superiority, as if she knows 'secret things'.  While Estelle is reasonably charitable, she dislikes lazy people who refuse to help themselves.  Estelle doesn't entertain crass discussions about voyeurism, but she does enjoy using her gifts...

Motivation:  Estelle does not harbor any romantic ideals of being a superhero, but she is concerned about 'enhanced' Terrorism and believes that the Devil's Children are best placed to handle it.  Proving SHIELD wrong about rejecting her would also be icing on the cake.

Powers:  Technically Estelle is a Psychic, but her mutant power revolves around Possession.  She has the ability to physically merge with a structure (a mansion, space station, or city building) or that of a vehicle (a car, plane, boat, spacecraft, etc)... providing it has a reflective surface for her to touch.  While Estelle is inhabiting a structure/vehicle, she may view it ala Clairvoyance and she can scan surface thoughts and read the moods from any occupants.  She may also communicate with occupants via speakers, phones, or other electronic devices.  Finally, Estelle can operate a vehicle (including external weapons)... or when inhabiting a structure, she can telekenetically manipulate doors, elevators, chattel, electronic devices, lighting, & power.  When she is ready to leave, Estelle may appear inside or outside the structure/vehicle from a reflective surface.

Weaknesses:  Estelle's mutant gift does have a few limitations.  Her Possession does not extend to reading/hacking secure electronic data (other than the bare minimum when she puppeteers objects).  Neither can Estelle Possess automatons, non building styled weapon emplacements, or structures/vehicles with no reflective surfaces (ancient ruins, an unmanned drone, etc).  She tires like a normal person and cannot sleep 'inside' a structure/vehicle.  Finally, if the structure/vehicle is sufficiently damaged or loses all of its reflective surfaces, Estelle is ejected from it.

History:  Estelle is a mutant and was likely drafted into the Devil's Children for her useful abilities... infiltration, spying, and general support.  She does not have a military background, coming instead from the corporate world.  She grew up in a mutant district and after honing her 'gifts', Estelle secured employment as a security guard.  Over the years she swiftly rose through the security industry (thanks to her powers) until she was an executive for a large American firm.  She has helped her parents retire to somewhere nice, pulled strings for her younger sister (Emma), and sits on a small fortune of her own.  But despite all her achievements, she has never been able to join SHIELD (thanks to their no mutant policy) or outshine them, yet.

Please give me one unique piece of information about your character. Something that will come into play and affect the story;

Despite her corporate success, Estelle's dating career has been a bit of a horror-show.  Worse still, she is occasionally pestered for help from her Exs... and they have a knack for getting into trouble.
