Rathan is a Talenta halfling of jolly nature, living most of his life in and around Gatherhold. Seeing the Mourning on the day of Mourning across Lake Cyre, he was inspired to wander as the old tribes once did. Though his faith in the spirits and Sovereigns is unshakable, he is first-most a man of kindness and understanding.

Wandering over the plains and beyond has left him with an eclectic dress mixing Karrnathi and Talenta styles, though his armour is 100% halfling dinosaur hide. When not in his armour he dresses in breeches and a tunic, barefoot with a couple bone rings on his fingers. His hair is greying at the temples and sideburns, and his carries a bit of a belly, all signs of his approaching middle age.
