Ethyren is a smiling halfling with short, reddish hair and a winsome, sunny disposition.  Slightly short for a halfling, she bears the Least Dragonmark of Hospitality on her left hand.  She wears neat clothes with the House Ghallanda badge prominently displayed on the shoulder (unless that would be ill-advised) and appears to go weaponless unless you look closely. (Those who can spot well-concealed weapons would note a hand crossbow and dagger on her belt. If asked about them, she'll only say, "Well, a girl must look out for herself in this world, shouldn't she?")  Very often she can be found cooking up something, and frequently smells of exotic spices or other good cooking smells.
