	FUNCTION: Field Medic / Technician "Shine your Light!" Normally prefers socializing and entertaining rather than fighting. Carries five time bombs and a pulse pistol, but is more noted for her ability to quickly patch up injured Autobots in the battlefield. Abilities:

Lightshow: Gem's power chip rectifier gives her the ability to give a dazzling display. She can light up, cause sparkles and special effects, and even cause her entire body to be blindingly bright for a split second.

Field Medic: Gem knows enough about Transformer anatomy to patch up most injuries well enough to help her fellow bots make it back to base. She has served as a nurse and aid to Ratchet from time to time.

Technician: Gem is no inventor, but she can rewire, hack, and otherwise tinker with any standard Cybertronian tech. Exotic or high-end tech requires more of a specialist, however.


Armaments:

Pulse Pistol: Gem's gun is a standard-issue side-arm that most Autobots have. It's damage output is enough to annoy or even hurt an opponent, but it isn't really lethal. However, it's pulse setting can cause the blast to spread, allowing it to push an opponent instead of harming them.

Time Bombs: Gem keeps about 5 time bombs with her and can only replenish them when back at Autobot HQ. They cause a big enough boom to blast open a standard wall or door on Cybertron (but not armor-plated doors/walls). Useful when you either need to get past a locked door, or just need a distracting boom.


Background:

Gem was designed for entertainment during the Golden Age of Cybertron. She was bright mentally and physically, and sometimes, she entertained off-world visitors. But those days are gone and now Gem devotes her intelligence to aiding the Autobot cause. Her programming had her desire to help in gentler ways, such as becoming a medic.
