Name: Sergey Bykov
Nickname: Seryozha
Age: 54
Occupation: Welder

Theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK2DraU6_h0
Faceclaim: Robert Maillet
Physical Description: A giant, beefy guy who towers over everyone in a given room by several heads. His eyes are hooded, dark, lined with age. His face in general is weathered from a lifetime of hard work and long, unforgiving winters. His graying hair is kept buzzed and he sports a dark beard. His face comes across as stern, unexpressive, and more often than not mildly annoyed.

From what is visible of his arms, he seems to have full sleeves of tattoos. There is one of an eagle on his throat with its wings spread out to either side of his neck. There are Russian letters tattooed on his knuckles and his hands are thick, callused, and scarred. He is missing a chunk of cartilage from the top of his left ear and is partially deaf on that side.
Distinguishing Features: Has tattoos on his entire body; is missing part of left ear; is very, very, tall.

Personality Description: Sergey comes across as grumpy and withdrawn. He's brusque in his manner of speech and for better or worse, always says exactly what he is feeling in the moment. Even if it's rude, angry, or a generally unhelpful statement. He has a long fuse - not because things don't bother him, but because he tends to bottle it all up until he explodes. He has a dry, sarcastic sense of humour. He likes to tease people. He sees it as playful but it usually comes across as rude. Inside he does have a good heart. He has trouble communicating positive emotions or allowing himself to appear in any way vulnerable. His kindness comes through in his actions more often than his words.

Apartment Number: 602
Time living at the Winslow: 3 1/2 years

What are some of your characters likes and dislikes?: Dislikes noisy people and loud noises in general. Enjoys fishing and being alone in nature. Wants to move to the countryside by the time he is 60.
Any other information you would like to share: He has 3 sons, an ex-wife, 3 grandsons, and 2 granddaughters.

History: Sergey was born in Astrakhan, Russia. The city was economically depressed and his upbringing was incredibly unstable; he spent most of his younger years gallivanting the streets to avoid being home. As soon as he was 18, he enrolled in the military, having no other options to escape Astrakhan nor the finances to pursue higher education.

Following training he was invited to take the spetsnaz exam given the fact he was strong as an ox and his quiet demeanor gave the impression of psychological stoicism. He was married in his mid-20's and had three sons. He continued to serve in the military in the naval spetsnaz unit until his late 30's.

He immigrated to America after leaving the military to raise his family, feeling very much like the system had tormented him, chewed him up, and spat him out. He doesn't have much fondness for his military career and felt taken advantage of. He learned a trade (welding) after arriving. After their children were grown, he and his wife divorced and she moved to another state. He gave the family home in America to his eldest son and daughter-in-law.
