2350 - Got an opportunity to teach outside the Federation and retired in good standing.

Pre-Starfleet: With a computer programmer mother and a Historian father she was the result of an El Aurian living on Andor for research purposes. Taking a history of the Aenar the two fell in love while working closely. Indari was the result, though it certainly took a bit of technology to make that happen.

She lived in the Ice caves as a child, living like any other Aenar. Her ablities were not as far reaching to those who were not telepaths, though. She was an empath, but she could still read and communicate mentally with anyone through touch. Her father raised her to listen carefully and she took to this and the social sciences he loved. But, she also had his wanderlust and joined the academy.

Post-Starfleet: A position at the respected Orion Institute of Cosmology. She was to focus on her work in Xenolinguistics although she was also allowed to pull students into groups to do off world Anthropological research. There she also picked up several more sciences, already good with computers thanks to her mother's raising her she learned a good amount of exo-biology which would definitely help her anthropological understanding.

Then the unthinkable happened and she was kidnapped. Missing for quite some time. Taken for her telepathic abilities, she was implanted with a different past and became one of Draim's net girls with the added bonus of being able to read people at meetings. This personality was so unlike hers, violent, impulsive. And even after one spy delivered information it was still another decade before he was taken down. Once that happened, though, after the war had ended, Indari returned home to get treatment. Her memories returned from the locks that had been placed on them, but the still remembered everything else she did. None of that was her. But it was her. She has to live with that.

Her great niece was the one who finally broke through and Indari was ready to return to the world. But not to service, just back to work. Far away from her memories. Using some connections she was able to get on board, generally referred to as only her name but if people feel the need for a title Doctor or Professor work. Indari is civilian, not wanting to take back her commission. Though, this may change in the future.
