When she's not doing anything to alter it, the simplest off-hand description of Shovash's appearance is also the most fitting—how a succubus would present itself to tempt an orc.  She stands over six feet tall without the wings, with shoulders half as wide as that and hips that could birth an ogre.  One tusk is long and sharp, carved with runes and inlaid with mithral. The other, missing, has been replaced by a faceted crystal spike, silver in color. Her skin is the medium gray of spent ashes, deepening to jet along the length of forearms and shins.  Its smooth surface does not come from a lifetime of combat or of toil.  But she is more heavily muscled than most of the warriors who answer to her, and those soft thighs and heavy breasts suggest plenty of other contributions to the survival of the tribe.

But she's also clearly not an orc, or at least not only an orc, and that is just as visible.  Those wings, for instance, black as her mitts and triple her height in span, fit better with the ring of horns that erupts from her skull like a bony crown, curving inward as it rises.  The eerily flexible tail, with three grasping talons at its tip, isn't really standard equipment, either.

She doesn't exactly dress like an orc, either.  At least, not like one scavenging on the fringe of the habitable world.  Except when representing her tribe (or the entire horde of Belkzen) she never wears hides, and even those are theatrically titillating, 'savage' and 'coarse' in ways that require hours of careful tailoring to drape just so.  More often, she favors fitted gowns: the low backs and halter-necks may be a necessary concession to having wings, but the rest of the peek-a-boo cutouts do nothing but show off the angles and curves of glowing tattoos that writhe across most of her skin.  Her copper-red hair winds in complicated plaits around the first handspan of her horns, and there is still several feet of braid to fall down her back.  In fact, the only part of her typical outfits that isn't gratuitously decorative is the heavy brass ring, like an ox-pull, that never leaves her septum.
