Description

Reyfus has a perfectly chiseled body, that is toned and powerful without being bulky. He's about 5'10'' tall and his weight seems to change frequently, somehow. His hair has a silvery-blue-platinum-periwinkle quality and seems to faintly glow. His ears are slightly pointed but not to the extent an elf's are. He has deep, piercing eyes that seem to shine like stars and then go dark and twinkle faintly. And he is beautiful, in a strange and exciting way as he blends the dark beauty of his mother with the sharp exotic outer-beauty of his father. He wears whatever suits his whimsy at the moment.

And when his true form is fully revealed, he shines like the sun and moon and stars, as his appearance becomes unearthly. More beautiful than beautiful, his power blazes forth as his divinity is bare for all to see. When he is fully glorious, he is beautiful and terrible to behold. Something that is partially maddening and partially darkly numinous as he blends both sides of his parentage without being lesser for it.

Personality

Reyfus is witty, sarcastic, has a sense of humor, is meddlesome, and mischievous. He's also passionate as his emotions run deep and on a level beyond what most humans understand. He is usually kind and generous and loyal to his friends and family, and does feel a sense of responsibility to look after those who are under his wing or in his purview. But he can be vindictive when slighted and is not above getting even with both gods and men alike and everything in between. He is haughty and arrogant, although isn't necessarily super mean about it. He was a brat of a child and is an entitled adult, although he also does have a sort of personal honor code as well and is the epitome of grace and regality even when he is at his worst. But thankfully, he's usually nicer than not. Unless someone grates on him. Even if he likes to play games with most people like a cat. And sometimes, he can be kinda mean and sadistic when he isn't being nice. He does what he pleases and goes where he pleases, consequences be damned in most cases.

Yes, his personality is basically like a tomcat. A tomcat that is a god. He embodies all the bad and the good personality traits of a cat in many ways.

Even among the powers, Reyfus is out there, different. Weird. Like, he literally has an affliction saying as such and is the living avatar of Deviance itself. He also was never human, although has deep emotions and strong feelings and is able to relate to them pretty well. For the most part, anyway. Sometimes he accidentally kills one or two when his restraint slips, and then the humans are in trouble because he didn't really mean to kill them but just lashed out in the heat of the moment. And then they come back to life as he un-kills them and everything is fine again. He gets by, somehow. After all he was raised with humans in his life who surrounded him and looked after him and adored him and coped with him since he was a baby onward. The key is, he is empathetic enough and human enough without actually being human, and on a whole he actually likes humans. He doesn't love them, but he does like them. Some days are easier than others though.

Background Notes

Reyfus was never human. He is the biological son of the Imperatrix of the Dark Evanessa and the Excrucian god Locke Da'Variad. Most people don't know this though, and those people and gods who do know keep it to themselves for the most part. He certainly doesn't advertise it - he doesn't want any more scrutiny of his mother by others.

And whatever sort of being he is now, he's still very nascent in his power and potential. But he's changing into something as he grows. If this will be good or bad for the world remains to be seen.

He also has one of the 7 known Abhorrent weapons known on the Ash: Horror. He inherited it from his father, whom he killed with his own hand by no desire of his own.
