Alfonso DeStoffa is a Factor (a mid-tier rank) in House Gabrio, where he primarily works in the trade of cloth, gladiators, and mercenaries.  Often, he wears the House symbol, directly or indirectly (through colors of clothing). Almost always, he is dressed as a wealthy merchant.  As such, he carries no obvious weapons or armor.  Noticeably, he walks with a heavy limp, and when travelling about town or outside of it, he usually rides in a wagon.  He is ordinarily accompanied by one or more of his servants and what appears to be a bodyguard hovering nearby silently.

Near the end of middle age, Alfonso does not have the physical bearing of an adventurer.  He is of average size and build, suited more for work administering warehouses than loading carts or standing in the bazaar all day. Still, he carries himself with as firm a gait as his age and body will permit, with a aire of dignity and respect.
