Whilst George Mogrey might once have been described as "rugged", nowadays he's more sort of "eroded". He's hale enough, still with a fair amount of brownish bronze in his hair and beard, and when not in inland hunting tweeds there's a shadow of the Constance's bosun that he once was, particularly when quietly smoking a pipe with an eye to the horizon.

Mogrey does talk, though it's hard to get any firm grasp of his thoughts on things unless he's highly focused on some task. Ususally, though, he listens. It's not immediately obvious from his gruff exterior, but George is in fact extremely good at remembering things he's told and thoughtful in his application of the knowledge.
