At first glance, Shadow resembles any other black-furred tabaxi.  Obsidian fur streaked with silver mimics the patterns of the night sky, and large tufted ears twitch at the slightest sound.  Amber eyes gleam like miniature suns, gathering in all the light in an area to penetrate the gloom.  While his coat is ample protection from the elements, this tabaxi has taken to donning a suit of studded leather armour, decorated in the elvish patterns of the drow.  Similarly, a finely crafted scimitar hangs at one hip, also strangely identified as a drow weapon.

A quiver hangs opposite the scimitar, decorated in a a blocky pattern.  Not many would recognise the rainbow colouration and styling of Far Payit in far-off Maztica, but the quiver and the long bow carved to look like a feathered serpent were standouts in a sea of blacks and greys, and marked Shadow as from not-anywhere-near-here.
