Origin: From the Wasabi mountain Warrens of Zou from which his name comes, Kaminari was given a strong name after "Kaminarisama" and was encouraged by his brothers to collect the harvest from a young age since he was especially fast. He also had a peculiar hair color which made him stand out and was nicknamed Ichigo Umaishiru, not only because it was strawberry cream (including what would pass for a beard), but he was also given this name because he would be accustomed to taking the lion's share from the spoils of his harvested crops. As a farmer of wasabi, the Mazuma family have traded with all sorts of people including pirates and Kaminari has noticed that the pirates have the most freedom and so he has dreamt of leaving with one of them to see the world.


Kaminari has several siblings who live on Zou with him and his parents are still alive and very much in love. He loves them all and they resolve conflicts easily.


Short-Term Goals: What are some things that you hope to accomplish in the near future?
Kaminari hopes to find freedom under a Captain in whatever capacity he can serve (thief). He boarded a ship headed to the Old World, but not as quietly as he hoped and was forced into labor as a deck hand and he became a thief to survive and to gain favor from his captain. He is hopeful, though not as bushy-tailed as when he first started, to find a captain worthy of his services and who won't mistreat him.


Long-Term Goals: What are some things that you hope to accomplish in the distant future?
Kaminari hopes to be a Captain of his own ship someday (Ichigo Umaishiru Team) in continuing his efforts to remain free.


Motivation: Why are you so loyal to this crew? What makes you want to stick together no matter what?
Kaminari is not so loyal to his current crew that he wouldn't leave them. In fact, he is only waiting for his time to betray his current captain to not return with any stolen goods as he investigates other pirate ships when his crew gets shore leave.
