A tall and rather formal man, he is fit and has a gaze that seems to look into you as opposed to at you. Some find this older gentleman a rather imposing figure but his unusual tactics in managing his crew has also gained him many allies that look up to him.  He genuinely cares about his crew, though rarely expresses it.  That being said, he is also very loyal to the Empire and willing to make sacrifices if the need arises.
