Married Margaret O'Connell in 1900, they had their first child in 1901. He didn't survive. In 1902, Rose was born. Another girl was born in 1904, but she didn't survive. No more children followed.
Robert worked as a banker after being guided into the job. He returned to that line of work after serving in the Great War. His wife dead from influenza before his return, he retreated into a shell of steel and has yet to resurface. He doesn't discuss his time abroad, and spends most of his time at work. Rarely does he go hunting or fishing. He does spend his time at home in his library, and is harsh in his ideals and discipline.
Not open to change, he is rigid and wants to be left alone.
