Taerix's eyes have been compared to the color of a calm sea. His blond hair is usually unkempt but short enough to stay out of his eyes. He wears a backpack and is loaded for adventuring.

Taerix was born and raised in Dellin's Holdfast, and is a regular at the Tipsy Peddler, and his libation of choice, coffee with spirits. He is known to clean his drink-spilled shirts and pants with magic before leaving the Peddler to give the impression that he is more sober than he really is. What he doesn't realize is that this hasn't fooled anyone in years. His regular conversations with Cormac are an enjoyable part of his time in the common room of the Peddler.

The ruins outside of town have interested him since he was old enough to know about them. One of these days he plans to mount a full expedition to check them out, but as usual, there is always something that is more pressing that needs to be done. He's heard the tales - undead, goblins, kobolds - but nobody's sure if any of those are lurking around the ruins now. Now that he's got some wizarding skills he feels that with a party of comrades the ruins would make for an interesting trek.

He is very much interested in magical research. As his experience grows, the first spell he wants to find or create for himself is a Sobering Spell. One of those would complement his Cleaning Cantrip nicely. Heaven knows it would make his life a lot easier. Even a Hangover Cure would be helpful....
